Everyone said that going from one to two was going to be hard. I had no idea. I mean i watch kids all day, i have never had just meah. It was still quite an adjustment. Although i think breasfeeding is an adjustment no matter what number kid you are on. Its like you have to feed the kid then run to the fridge to get something to eat so you can have enough energy to feed the kid again.
Most days it is like the never ending feeding session in my house. If it isnt my 3 month old nursing off me it is my 2 year old belting out "I'm hungry!" a thousand times a day. Where do they pack away all that food?
About 6-8 weeks ago we found out aaden had acid reflux. Poor little guy was screaming ALL.THE.TIME. he would nurse for a bit then latch off and get real fussy, then scream, then spit up then nurse again. it was really a visious cycle. Then he had a few choking fits in the middle of the night about a week apart so we took him in. diagnosis~ acid reflux. So they gave him this heavenly medicine, and its like i have a whole new child.
The only problem, this kid is growing like a weed. He is already wearing size 6-9month clothes for crying out loud, must take after his uncle brendan. This is a problem because his medicine goes by weight, so when he grows so fast his dosage needs to be raised. When his dosage needs to be raised, back comes the SCREAMING.
